What is Hillel about?
EC Hillel provides opportunities for students to experience Jewish culture and heritage in ways which are positive and relevant to their lives.
Autumn Term events:
Bagel Brunch, Sunday, August 14 · 10:30am - 1:30pm (Student Lounge)
Shabbat on South Beach, Friday, August 19 - 5:30pm - 6:30pm
Ongoing Events:
Bagel Brunch the first Sunday of every month
2 Shabbat dinners on the second and fourth Fridays of the month
Movie night the third Thursday of every month
Besides our monthly events, we also celebrate every major Jewish holiday. We have hosted Passover Seder, built a Sukkah, had a costume party for Purim, held multiple celebrations for Hanukkah including lighting our very own menorah made by Eckerd students each night, and so much more!
